The Role This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a growing business, working with a small close knit finance team, with an AR team of 2 (1 x direct report). Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be taking ownership of the AR/credit function from the ground up with the capacity/ability to put your signature on the roles function and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies. You can choose also to have the ability to finish early on Fridays by performing some minimal extra hours over the other 4 days. Your primary duties will comprise of: Full function AR Bank recs Collections (phone and email)- both large national/small accounts (approx. 2000 accounts) 1 x direct report Debtor reports Refunds/rebates Invoicing Bank recs (reconciling bank statements) Receipting Allocations/journals Managing Online platform AR – processing of 3rd party payments ie ZIP/Afterpay etc Handling Credit queries About You A team player and self-starter, you will be highly competent and knowledgeable across the whole AR function and have had Snr experience where you have taken ownership of the AR/Credit function in a business. The successful candidate will ideally had experience leading/motivating small teams. However ambitious Snr Credit Controllers/AR Officer looking to take a step up are also encouraged to apply. You will ideally obtain the following: Min 5 years’ experience in a similar AR/Credit Control position High attention to detail Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines Ability to work autonomously.
