About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planning Manager to join our program based at Garden Island, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. You will be responsible for using your subject matter expertise to deliver strategic advice, tactical planning and operational support for the Sustainment program. Showcase your skills as you provide direction to all Sustainment stakeholders, technical and non-technical, as well as guiding support services and the Configuration Manager. Key responsibilities include: Determining the needs, processes and reporting requirements to effectively manage DDG Maintenance Baseline. Providing support and governance to ensure data quality for reporting. Directing a high level of assurance for services, deliverables, outputs and outcomes that are supplied or delivered by other third party organisations. Planning and coordinating activities to support managers in maintaining the objectives and goals of the customer in relation to maintenance data completeness and usability. Conducting critical functional reviews and continual improvement recommendations using an Agile Project Management and Application Development process and methodology. Support and assist with production and transition planning, ongoing operational support, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement across the enterprise and other Defence Maritime Support Agencies. About YOU Proven AMPS 7 experience preferably in a defence maintenance environment. Experience building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate individuals. Excellent communications skills with the aptitude to negotiate and influence key stakeholders, as well as, adapt written and verbal communications to suit a variety of audiences. Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain. Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
