The staff member would help lead a growing and innovative team who provide services in the Emergency Department, Inpatient and Outpatient areas of John Hunter Children's Hospital. The role includes operational management and leadership responsibilities, alongside balancing this with clinical work. The position will be supported by the Director of Allied Health and the Manager of Community and Allied Health to ensure that they are able to achieve the managerial and leadership tasks required of them. There is ongoing availability of appropriate clinical supervision and the job-share arrangement will lead to opportunities to learn from others.About you: We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering quality care to children, young people and families experiencing acute, chronic illness and injury. The candidate would have advanced communication skills, both orally and in writing. The candidate would contribute to the positive learning environment within the multidisciplinary workforce of the Child Life, Music and Art Therapy service.
