In this role you will:
1. Oversee Injury Management and Return to Work (RTW).
2. Investigate Workplace Incidents/Injuries and provide advice on corrective actions.
3. Review Policies and Procedures to ensure regulatory and legislative compliance.
4. Conduct Toolbox and Safety meetings.
5. Perform Risk Assessments, Safety Inspections and Audits.
6. Review and keep Safety Data Sheet up to date.
7. Lead coaching, mentoring, and training on WHS strategies and
8. activities.
9. Organise onsite visits for Safety Training (Manual Handling, Fire Training, Spill Training, Emergency Drills) and follow through with VOC’s.
10. Maintain Training Matrix.
11. Provide mental health support and referral to EAP program.
12. Maintain First Aid Kits and supplies.
About you:
13. Previous experience in a similar role.
14. Registration with national board for relevant nursing board.
15. BLS certification; ACLS/ATLS would be advantageous.
