ECO Environmental is seeking a full-time Senior Equipment Technician to support our experienced team in a variety of interesting and challenging roles in our Perth warehouse.
This position reflects the needs of both the growing environmental services sector and ECO Environmental in particular.
Now with offices in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, and Singapore, we continue to build our presence in this market and are actively seeking people who would love to join us on this exciting journey.
ECO Environmental has a particular expertise in remote monitoring, and this role is designed to enhance our capabilities in this growing area.
This role will require the successful candidate to work within an industry-leading team of technicians as well as being able to demonstrate initiative to work without supervision.
You will be required to work on a variety of equipment for a wide range of end customers.
Key responsibilities for this role are:Assisting in the design, assembly, and integration of remote monitoring stations including data loggers.Managing our existing fleet of remote monitoring stations, including data loggers, solar power, battery, and overall integration.
This includes software and hardware capabilities.Ability to service, maintain, and manage a wide range of monitoring equipment.Troubleshoot equipment faults via phone or email with clients.Assisting the servicing and repair of a wide range of environmental monitoring equipment in our rental fleet, with particular emphasis on electronic aspects.Ability to manage and undertake off-site work.Project management of new contracts.This role requires the successful candidate to:Have a minimum of trade qualifications in electrical or electronics engineering or related discipline.Have a minimum of 12 months experience in an equipment repair or electronics role.Experience with environmental monitoring equipment would be well regarded.Confidence to accurately report to management with technical updates and relevant information.Ensure a good standard of personal presentation.Demonstrate enthusiasm and energy for their work.Demonstrate sound literacy, numeracy, and interpersonal skills.ECO Environmental commits to providing the successful candidate with:Great scope for learning opportunities and career progression.Appropriate training in all aspects of the role.The opportunity to work with a professional, diverse, and client-focused team.A central work location with parking.We welcome resumes from candidates who believe they have the ability to join us in taking ECO Environmental to the next level in the provision of environmental monitoring solutions in Australia.
