We are looking for an Electronic Engineer to join our clients team and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of critical electrical and electronic systems on our offshore vessels. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Electrical Team and report directly to the Electrical Foreman.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and control all onboard electrical/electronic equipment in line with stringent safety proceduresDevelop and propose maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks for optimal equipment uptimeAnalyse material stock levels and recommend procurement requirements to maintain work continuityEnsure all work activities adhere strictly to HSE and quality protocolsConduct preventive maintenance to uphold the efficiency of electrical/electronic equipmentCoordinate with the Electrical Team and participate in daily toolbox talksRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical disciplineProven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems, preferably in the marine/offshore industrySolid understanding of electrical principles, equipment, and maintenance practicesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematicsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issuesExcellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teamsUnwavering commitment to safety and quality standards in a demanding offshore environmentIf you are interested in this role, please forward your CV to paul.mcalpine@ablyresources.com
