Our client provides agricultural cropping and animal health supplies, from large scale irrigation projects, to agronomy, soil and plant health and weather monitoring. Supply a wide range of irrigation, farming products, chemicals and fertilisers and have a team of irrigation installers.
We are seeking a highly motivated, result driven team player who thrives on providing quality service to our customers. This role is focused on rural merchandise sales, service to our customers, warehouse and logistics duties plus assisting other sales personnel within shop premises. The position would suit a team player with a can-do attitude, with an interest in agriculture. If you have the right attitude, we can train you. Candidates could be on a gap year, or graduate, or someone looking for a tree change in the bush.
Duties/responsibilities include
7. To be the first point of contact for in store customers, telephone calls and emails
8. Provide outstanding customer service to clients
9. Assist with goods transfers and receivables, sales and transactions
10. Unloading and receiving stock deliveries
11. Maintaining showroom and yard safety, cleanliness and presentation
12. Manual handling, including lifting of up to 20kg
13. Actively maintain a clean, safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Role Requires:
14. Ability to provide exceptional customer service
15. Excellent communication skills
16. High attention to detail with ability to prioritise and execute tasks
17. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
18. Exceptional time management and organisational skills
19. Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
20. Operate forklift
21. Ability to work Saturday mornings on a roster (once a month)
Desirable:
22. Previous experience working in a similar role involving retail sales
23. An understanding of the rural industry
24. Knowledge of rural merchandise products

Licences/certificates:
26. Tertiary education or Retail Certificate (Advantageous)
27. Manual Driver's Licence
28. Fork lift licence (required - and must be able to obtain one)
