Delaware North Australia is hiring a STP Operator to join our Maintenance Team at Lizard Island Resort. As a STP Operator, you will play a vital role in managing and monitoring the Resort Sewerage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant at our resort. In this vital role, you will help us deliver a premium customer experience in this amazing environment, ensuring our guests' comfort from arrival to departure. This is a "live-on" remote location role located on the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, just over an hour's flight north east of Cairns.

Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain water and sewerage treatment plants in line with legislation
* Record water usage, sample potable water, and replace chemicals as needed
* Perform daily operations, maintenance, and repairs at the sewerage treatment plant
* Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and testing requirements
* Adhere to safety, environmental, and resort procedures, including cyclone protocols
What will you bring?
* STP certifications and a current driver's license
* Understanding of safety standards and chemical knowledge
* Tractor and front-end loader licenses (preferred)
* Strong adherence to environmental policies and procedures
* Ability to perform duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor
