The role involves building and managing existing client relationships, working alongside the SEO team contributing to the success of the department.
You’ll have a team of developers and content creators working in the same office, as well as a strategic leadership team to consult and bounce ideas with.
The team collaborates regularly to achieve results driven outcomes for our clients across small, medium and corporate size campaigns.
The work environment is professional in execution and set in a fun and relaxed office atmosphere.
Responsibilities
* Identification of new growth opportunities and bottlenecks.
* Troubleshooting and executing solutions that improve organic search and conversions.
* Monthly reporting and direct interaction with clients; via zoom, phone and email.
* Contribute to improve departments performance.
* Develop strategy and present campaign proposals for new and re-engagement of client opportunities.
Requirements (must have’s):
* Strategise and create campaign plans for brand new accounts (both for new websites and websites with existing history).
* Proven ability to develop a customised SEO strategy to meet a client’s business objectives.
* Strong understanding of content mapping (topical maps), site structure and page relevance around entities.
* Perform keyword research identifying commercial and informational traffic opportunities.
* Create content briefs for our in-house writers and manage the process.
* Execute on-page optimisation (content, meta tags and descriptions etc).
* Ability to optimise content for correct user intent, user experience, and adjust content correctly to build relationships between entities and concepts (you have to know Semantic SEO).
* Execute technical optimisation tasks (sound development knowledge required).
* Good communication skills to relay campaign strategies/performance/growth to clients.
* Strong understanding in Analytics, Search Console, aHrefs, SEMrush etc.
* Written and verbal communication skills to communicate ideas and outcomes.
* Sound command of the English language; be able to compose well-written emails and have an excellent phone manner.
* Skills to prioritise tasks, refine processes and build the department.
