About the role
We are currently looking for qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join us immediately for permanent contracts for both FIFO/DIDO and residential opportunities on various NSW sites. As part of the role, you will be providing daily/weekly servicing of underground mobile plant equipment, performing in-depth diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs of underground mobile plant equipment. Ongoing internal training is offered to all team members.

Duties
Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Scheduled maintenance on Underground Mobile Plant Equipment
Diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical faults in engines and other machinery
Working closely with our customers to provide detailed reports on machinery condition
Completion of all required service sheets and job sheets
Following all company and site policies and procedures
Position pre-requisites
To be successful in this role you will have:
Trade Qualification certificate or previous mining experience (LV - HD upgrade)
Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems - including CAN operated machinery
Previous mining maintenance experience with knowledge of underground drills, loaders, and trucks - Atlas Copco/Epiroc, Sandvik, Cat, Volvo, Normet
A relevant motor vehicle licence
Ability to adhere to strict safety standards and protocols at all times
Sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers
Current Police Clearance
