Payroll, Human Resource and Compliance Administrator The Opportunity:We are seeking a capable and motivated payroll professional to join our team, who would like to learn Human Resources, Health Safety and Environment. The Role:As the Payroll, HR, WH&S and Compliance Officer you are an integral part of administering HR, WH&S and Enviro systems across multiple sites within our Company. Responsibilities: Human ResourcesAdvertising and recruitment of staff for all areasMaintain up-to-date Job Descriptions for all Team MembersEnsure all new employees complete an induction process.Employee engagement and performance management including reviews.Administer disciplinary actions and terminationsWorkcover premiums and claims are managedImplement systems and activities to monitor and improve staff culture and morale.Award interpretation and compliance Safety and ComplianceReview current safe work procedures (SWMS) for all items across the plant and assist management develop new SWMS for newly commissioned equipmentDocument workplace quality standards for productsAssist managers audit existing procedures and operations within the plantAssist managers conduct Risk Assessments including reviewing and updating safety related documentation Administer the day to day Safety and Environment requirements of the businessSource sound advice and information to management on safety and environmental issuesEnsure management promote safety awareness and continuous improvement opportunitiesEnsure management deliver internal training where necessary on relevant complianceEnsure management are proactive on their team's incident reporting and investigation, including reviewing and implementing corrective actionsCoordinate management to undertake regular workplace inspection to ensure compliance and proactively resolve any issues Undertake regular workplace inspection to ensure compliance and proactively resolve any issuesEnsure Work Cover and Public Liability insurances are up to date for ContractorsAssist management to ensure annual insurance premiums are renewed and any claims managedAdminister yard/office maintenance is scheduled and lease agreements are managedAssist management to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities – including ERA guidelines and council requirements.Government assistance and grant applications - including LCA, EDP and GreenstarDevelop a relationship with local Worksafe QLD ranch and work cooperatively to meet WH&S obligations. Develop a relationship and communicate regularly with local State Development branch (and Federal equivalent)to take advantage of all state/federal government assistance.
