Assistant Director, Finance and Procurement The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) is Australia's independent expert regulator for health and safety, structural integrity, well integrity and environmental management for all offshore energy operations and greenhouse gas storage activities in Commonwealth waters, and in coastal waters where regulatory powers and functions have been conferred. NOPSEMA also administers the functions of the Offshore Infrastructure Regulator (OIR), for the offshore renewables industry. This includes the regulation of work health and safety, infrastructure integrity, and environmental management for offshore renewable energy infrastructure activities. Role: NOPSEMA is recruiting an experienced Assistant Director - Finance and Procurement to join its Finance and Procurement Team, based in our Perth Office. The Assistant Director - Finance and Procurement reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and leads and manages NOPSEMA's finance activities including management and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, procurement and finance audits. Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop and mentor a small finance and procurement team. Responsible for the management and governance of the day-to-day activities. Act as the lead point of contact for technical guidance. Administer the governance of finance and procurement policies, processes and systems. Drive continuous improvement. What are we looking for?
