The Role
The Inclusive Employment Program is designed to provide temporary workplace opportunities and experience for local people who face barriers to employment, for a duration of six months. To apply for this position, you must live within the City of Whittlesea municipality, and you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:
* People from Culturally or Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds
* Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander Peoples
* People living with disability
* Older people unable to find suitable employment
* Residents who may be experiencing hardship

Working as part of the Engagement Team within the Public Affairs department, you will provide general support across the department to deliver a comprehensive engagement program and provide high quality administrative support.
Every day will be different with a variety of tasks including administrative support, liaising with suppliers and customer service with loads of opportunity to learn more about community engagement and communications in the multi-disciplinary department along the way.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and friendly team player to join our team to support the delivery of effective community engagement in the City of Whittlesea. You’ll need a can-do attitude, be a problem solver and able to provide administrative support while maintaining a willingness to learn.
