The role is full time and permanent, managing Supagas tanker’s compliance and maintenance as well as overseeing the procurement of new LPG/Cryogenic tankers/stationary tanks, as well as administering maintenance works and forecasting requirements.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Management of all Supagas's bulk DG transport fleet utilizing MEX and sourcing contractors both locally and internationally to undertake work.Support forecasting the requirements including the need for new tankers & developing a procurement schedule.Develop and manage rehorsing programme for existing tankers. Forecast and schedule the vehicle requirements.Develop and manage new equipment procurement required for the tankers & ensure spares inventory are maintained and critical parts are available.Liaise with the engineering team to review the new/existing tankers design to ensure optimal design e.g. by achieving the maximum payload, compliance etc.Develop technical documents and specifications to cover the entire tanker requirements from design, procurement, acceptance testing, fit-out, maintenance and inspection.Work with NSHD group of companies in evaluating and using preferred equipment suppliers.Participate in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and help facilitate activities that are planned for the site.Site assessments & work procedures development.BenefitsA friendly and supportive team environment.Company reward and recognition program.Professional learning and development opportunities.Opportunities for career progression.Employee Assistance Program and Wellbeing initiatives.Skills & ExperienceHave experience in a similar role or proven experience in Project/Maintenance experience.LPG or Industrial gas product knowledge and general understanding of gases, bulk installations.Qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical trade or Engineers with prior 5 years similar experience in tanker maintenance within the Industrial Gas or LPG industry is preferred.Strong communication skills, with the ability to positively influence others.People management skill and must have the drive to achieve and the ability to persuade and influence others.Knowledge on computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)-MEX.Current, valid Australian driver’s licence.Most importantly we value attitude above all else.
