These positions are due to commence in July 2025 and require a NV1, NV2 or TSPV clearance.Job DescriptionThe PSOs will be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the project control function based on legislation, policy and procedures. They will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews and perform procedural and administrative support work to achieve results. They will also coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.Job Duties and Responsibilities may include:Accountable to contribute to the development and maintenance of project, program and/or portfolio planning and performance processes in accordance with agreed procedures and performance standards;Assist with preparations for project test, evaluation and acceptance programs;Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities;Research, draft and prepare briefs, correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration;Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member and provide constructive feedback;Engage with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns;Adjust project management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks;Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action;Maintain project financial records under the direction of the Project Manager;Conduct other project-related tasks within the scope of the stated APS level, as required by the assigned work area.Technical skills:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a PSO or similar role;Knowledge of project management methodologies, e.g. PRINCE2;Experience working with Microsoft 365 and other software applications.To be considered for these positions, please forward your Resume to Alison at the Recruitment Hive by clicking the Apply Now button.
