About this role
We are currently looking for Personal Care Workers to join our community where our residents are the centre of our care. Working alongside a group of dedicated professionals who all work together to provide high-quality care for residents.
Working at our Fair Haven Aged Care Service, you will be assisting residents in daily living activities that meet their individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs.
In this varied role, your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Participating in the development and review of resident/client care plans, including completing charting and reporting any observed changes of a resident's health to the Registered Nurse;
* Undertaking and completing a number of different tasks, as delegated by the Registered Nurse;
* Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensuring that all interactions are treated confidentially;
* Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment.
What you can bring to the team
The ideal candidate will be caring, empathetic, happy, flexible to work afternoons and nights, and have experience in aged care.
As a compassionate natured individual, you are passionate about caring for our seniors and take pride in the care that you provide. You will enjoy taking time to build relationships and getting to know our residents to provide them with the best possible care.
You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your fellow team members.
Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support;
* Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care;
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7-day week;
* Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain.
