A little about the role
Reporting to the Team Manager, the Case Worker will lead the team around the young person to implement therapeutic interventions. You will make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of young people by providing intensive, trauma-informed in-home support, while maintaining a focus on cultural safety.
Other key responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Team/Program Manager and Therapy Team to ensure integrated service delivery.
* Lead the Key Care Team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring therapeutic supports and services for children and young people accessing the service.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and local community supports as needed.
* Collaborate with the Key Care Team to assess needs and develop individual therapeutic and goal plans for young people.
* Provide 1:1 supervision and coaching with Youth Workers on a monthly basis.
The base salary for this position is $84,006.00 - $90,382.50 /annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + vehicle/allowance + fuel card + mobile phone + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is a full-time, ongoing position.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll come with:
* Training and qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work, or Community Services.
* At least 2 years of experience working directly with children and young people in the care system.
* Proven experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviour using a trauma-informed approach.
* Experience in leadership or supervisory roles. (Desirable)
