About the Role:
The purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient placement support services during weekends and on statutory holidays by coordinating Support Workers that have the capacity and capability to deliver high quality services to Clients. This is an Acting Role with an immediate start and finishing in April 4.
Some of the Key Responsibilities:
5. Leadership and Coordination of the Weekend Team.
6. Managing and developing efficient and effective placement protocols and processes.
7. Delivering responsive placement support services to meet Client's needs.
8. Entering into and retrieving data from GoldCare/ Innovcare.
9. Liaising with the branch Leads to ensure a streamlined service is always delivered.
You will Need:
Essential
10. A Current NZ Driver’s License.
11. A High level of IT literacy in the MS Office suite and Gold Care / Innovacare.
12. Competent in working with a Human Services Database.
13. The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing information.
14. Excellent interpersonal skills, team building skills, analytical and problem solving skills.
Desirable
15. Knowledge of working with older people and/ or those with disabilities in the community.
16. Understanding of the social model of service delivery in a community care environment.
17. Awareness of the Home & Community Support Sector Standards.
18. Knowledge of areas covered by Vision West Baptist Homecare.
Skills and Experience:
19. Experience in providing services that meet contractual and legislative requirements.
20. Prior experience in excellent customer service.
21. Experience working in a ‘call Centre’ environment and is excellent at managing time and multi-tasking (phone calls, placements, and administration).
22. Has worked within a quality system environment.
23. Has worked in environments where respecting diversity of culture, ethnicity, and belief systems is reflected in service delivery.
24. Great Leadership Skills with the ability to motivate and support staff.
25. Can effectively supervise, train and coordinate staff to provide a support services.
26. Ability to effectively analyze problems objectively and find solutions.
27. Ability to work both independently and in a team.
