Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Document Controller with relevant capex experience, to join their team on the Mornington peninsula.

* Contract Duration: 12 months +
* Start Date: Immediate
* Location: Mornington peninsula

Role Overview
The document controller is required to manage engineering documents within the Engineering and Capital Projects department. The role is multifaceted and reports to the Drafting Office Supervisor with interfaces to the Engineering and Capital Project Manager, the Assets Manager, and Manufacturing units across the site.
Tasks
* Administration of, and quality checks on, the plant engineering drawing system
* Filing and archiving of electronic and hard copy engineering drawings
* Administration and Maintenance of the site technical document registers e.g. technical manuals and equipment registers
* Consumables ordering and management
* Management of large format document printing and scanning equipment
* Management of document archive strong room
* Minor engineering drafting work
Experience & Skills
* Organisational skills
* Attention to detail
* Communication skills, written and verbal
* MS Office skills – Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience using PDF Writer for documentation editing and format changes
* Experience in document control and/or document management
* Proficiency in document management systems such as databases as well as hard copy and electronic archive systems
* Experience in change management and version control
* Time management and prioritisation
* Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing terminology and documentation
* Basic AutoCAD skills and experience preferred
