(NG7) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation About the role The North Queensland Kidney Transplant Service offers patients from regional, rural, and remote areas of northern Queensland with kidney failure the best chance of a quality life, longer-term survival, and care closer to home. The CNC NQKTS is an integral part of the unit providing clinical expertise, education and consultancy to patients and staff in the field of kidney transplantation. The successful candidates will play a key role in the highly skilled North Queensland Kidney Transplant multidisciplinary team, to make a tangible impact on the lives of north Queenslanders. The purpose of the role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Kidney Transplantation. The CNC NQKTS ensures the continuum of care throughout the kidney transplant journey by providing direct and indirect care as required. This position works in collaboration with the NQKTS Clinical Director and multidisciplinary team to maintain a coordinated approach to pre- and post-care of kidney transplant patients and to support the provision of safe quality healthcare. Role requirements Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate. Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the NQKTS Networked HHSs to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities.
