Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all portable building installations are completed on time, meeting specifications and complying with relevant Australian building codes.
* Assist in planning and coordinating the transport of portable buildings and materials to site for installations.
* Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs of toilets and portable buildings on hire at customer sites.
* Prepare toilets and portable buildings for hire, ensuring they are clean, presented to a high standard, equipped with all relevant furniture and accessories, and in a safe/usable condition.
* Complete electrical testing and tagging on portable building accessories.
* Assist in resolving service issues with hire items on site and ensure accurate recording of asset numbers for exchange items.
* Ensure all equipment is inspected upon return and report any customer damage to recoup costs.
* BUILD and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience in a handyperson role such as carpentry or plumbing.
* 1-3 years of experience in rental, industrial experience highly desired.
* Knowledge of relevant building codes and practical requirements.
* Strong safety focus with an ability and desire to promote, influence, and drive a positive safety culture.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Aptitude for hands-on, construction-related tasks.
* Intermediate computer skills including data entry and systems usage.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Reliability, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
