Exciting Opportunity: Licensee - Real Estate Our client, a highly regarded real estate technology company that is changing the way people buy property, is seeking an experienced and meticulous professional to manage their trust account operations and ensure financial compliance. This role is crucial in overseeing settlements, trust account transactions, auditing, and financial reporting, ensuring smooth and legally compliant property transactions. You will also play a key role in drafting, reviewing, and signing property-related agreements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage trust accounts in accordance with regulations. Handle trust account transactions, including receipting, settlements, and disbursements. Establish, maintain, and close investment accounts as needed. Coordinate fund transfers between trust and investment accounts. Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations. Maintain transparent financial records and generate audit reports. Ensure all trust account transactions comply with legal requirements. Reporting & Communication: Prepare financial summaries and reports for projects and stakeholders. Liaise with solicitors on legal and financial matters related to settlements. Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions. Agreement & Financial Management: Draft, review, and execute agreements for property transactions. Assist with financial forecasting and strategic planning related to trust accounts. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial operations and processes. Qualifications & Experience: NSW Class 1 Real Estate License (essential). Eligibility to act as a Licensee-in-Charge. Multi-state licensing (NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC) is highly desirable. Extensive experience in trust account management, auditing, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of real estate compliance and trust accounting regulations. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with legal professionals, clients, and internal teams.
