Our client is a long established and well-respected supplier and manufacturer of commercial furniture. They are looking for a dynamic and results driven individual with expertise in B2B selling ideally within the Government market.
The Role:
To develop NSW Govt clients with a secondary focus on VIC Govt clients. This sector is already established so requires a mix of managing the existing client base and proactively developing untapped or dormant clients in this sector. You will be involved in every step of the process from lead generation, quoting, negotiating, and closing, to installation and after sales support. However, you will have an established team around you including sales manager, sales support, and project manager to help you achieve your goals.
About You:
You should have minimum 2+ years B2B sales experience with demonstratable results.
Previous experience in the furniture industry is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience in tendering and/or estimating off furniture plans would also be looked at favourably.
You are a team player and have been a net contributor.
You can handle objections and don’t shy from cold calling.
You are always approachable and friendly yet stay result driven.
Networking comes naturally to you, and you understand there can be more than one decision maker for every opportunity.
You are entrepreneurial in your thinking and can think outside of the box.
