This is an office-based, full-time position with an attractive salary package, negotiable depending on your experience. Reporting to the General Manager and Managing Director, you will work on an impressive pipeline of projects secured. Your role requires effective subcontract administration and an understanding of robust client service. You will wear multiple hats on any given day and are ultimately responsible for the performance of projects, from leadership and team support to driving buildability and day-to-day problem-solving to create commercial outcomes. Projects include multi-residential, large-format retail, health and medical facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, and heritage projects. Duties Daily administration operations of the Firm's projects to meet budgets Review and provide SWMS, registries, warranties & and SMP to the Firm's clients as needed for each project Compiling & completing all monthly progress claims and assessing return payment schedules Compiling & submitting project variations & ensuring all documentation and correspondence between the Firm and client is completed as necessary Administer sub-contract agreements to the Firm sub-contractors and manage invoices and payment schedules Administering Principal contractor agreements and managing Delay, EoT, Program, LDs, payment terms, retentions & Practical Completion Developing solutions for work delays and problems that may arise on the projects with the Operations Manager Review all project contracts, negotiate the best outcome with the Firm clients and advise MD & GM on key items Completing contract scope of works alongside the Estimators and advising MD & GM on key items Ensuring correct document registers are recorded in the contracts alongside the Estimators Manage the workforce planning of the Firm projects working alongside the Operations Manager Reporting key results, tender agreements and the pricing of business endeavours between the Firm's principal contractors to the Firm's GM & MD Liaising with the Firm's projects principal contractors to facilitate an efficient schedule of work Negotiating liquidated damages with the Firm's clients in line with the Firm's requirements Negotiating project finances at close out stage with the Firm's clients Criteria 3 – 5 years of previous experience working in Commercial Construction as a Contracts Administrator Experience working within a Sub Contracting company beneficial (Not Head Contractor) Understanding the sequence of construction A strong affinity with ensuring safety on-site You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity To apply for this position With a commitment to leading and training their teams for well-rounded experience and unmatched knowledge from their discipline within the construction industry.
