Based in our Campbellfield branch, this position reports directly into the National Manager of HSE Systems and Assurance.
This position plays a pivotal role in undertaking regular ISO 45001 / 14001 internal audits across our ANZ branches.
Additionally, this position will look at our risk assessments and risk registers and provide recommendations on improvements and best practice.
This role requires regular travel (approximately one week a month) across ANZ.
Key responsibilities are: Support the National Manager with the integrated management system as needed. Undertake ISO 45001/14001 compliant audits across the Oceania region. Initiate audit actions in the digital audit database and follow up on actions as needed. Support the update of risk assessments and risk registers when new risks are found through audits across the business. Assist to ensure all documentation is compliant with relevant ISO standards and regulatory requirements. When undertaking audits, liaise with the regional HSE teams to update and include them in audits and/or inspections as required. Follow up on opportunities for improvement or non-conformances as required from third-party certification bodies. Prepare detailed reports and analysis on audit findings and system performance for review by the National Manager. Lead initiatives to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices and present proposals to the National Manager. Provide support to the National Manager with the implementation and execution of the Switch onto Safety initiatives as required. What we are looking for: Experience working in the Heavy Machinery, Mechanical or Manufacturing industry highly desirable. Sound knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 rules and regulations. Auditing experience and qualifications highly desirable. Proven ability to build and create reports and technical recommendations around risk management and risk assessment. Strong skills with Excel, Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Proven track record of solutions designing and being able to work autonomously. Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
