The CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, financial oversight, operational efficiency, and fostering community engagement, ensuring Sandhurst remains a premier destination in Australia’s golf and residential market.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Vision: Drive Sandhurst’s vision, steering the Club towards continued excellence in the residential, golf, and hospitality sectors. Foster a collaborative culture, inspire proactive teams, and uphold integrity and trust, aligning all efforts with Club covenants and governance standards.Strategic Planning & Financial Oversight: Develop and execute strategic plans supporting Sandhurst’s mission, incorporating growth initiatives, facility enhancements, and financial sustainability. Work closely with the CFO to manage budgets, optimise revenue, and make informed financial decisions, maintaining the Club’s financial health.Operational Efficiency: Optimise Club processes across departments to enhance service quality, streamline operations, and ensure cost-effective service delivery without compromising member and guest satisfaction.Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with members, vendors, local councils, and other stakeholders to support collaboration and mutual success. Act as a Club ambassador, promoting a positive and transparent working relationship between the board and membership.Member & Guest Experience: Prioritise a customer-centric focus, elevating satisfaction by setting high standards for service delivery and member engagement.Governance & Compliance: Ensure Club adherence to regulatory, health, safety, and corporate governance standards, upholding Club codes and covenants.Community Development & Resilience: Cultivate a resilient community that supports members, staff, and volunteers, promoting unity and engagement across stakeholders.Marketing & Brand Management: Oversee branding and marketing efforts to strengthen Sandhurst’s reputation, guiding community engagement and showcasing the Club’s unique lifestyle.Required Traits and SkillsLeadership & Vision: Proven ability to inspire diverse teams, build consensus among stakeholders, and lead with integrity toward the Club’s mission and vision.Financial & Strategic Acumen: Expertise in financial management, budgeting, strategic investment, and long-term growth planning aligned with the Club’s objectives.Customer-Centric Focus & Operational Efficiency: Strong commitment to member and guest satisfaction, with skills in optimizing processes for high-quality, efficient service.Communication & Relationship Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to effectively engage with members, staff, and stakeholders.Governance & Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of governance, regulatory standards, and Club policies, with a commitment to uphold these principles.Adaptability, Innovation & Integrity: Embraces innovation, adapts to evolving industry trends, and demonstrates ethical leadership, fostering trust and a positive community culture.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the hospitality, club, or community-based sectors.
