How will I help? As a facilitator, you will provide expert support to the design and delivery of learning experiences. You will ensure that learners develop the necessary knowledge and skills for their roles, aligning with accreditation frameworks and Westpac Group standards.
You will act as a change agent by advocating for the group's strategy and leading innovations in learning practices. By collaborating and exploring new methods, you will enhance the learner experience.
You will stay current with industry trends and best practices through professional development and networking. Additionally, you will contribute to design reviews of learning solutions, facilitate virtual learning through webinars, and provide coaching to integrate Role Ready frameworks and tools in real-time.
Key responsibilities Facilitate behavioural and technical learning programs for various roles across the Business Banking Division. Use face-to-face and virtual methods to deliver high-quality learning experiences. Coach new starters on embedding Role Ready content and ensure consistent training delivery. Review and maintain content for user experience and compliance. Participate in change activities and minor design maintenance with the Maintenance & Design Team. Advise on learning program design and classroom application. Lead without authority, coordinate effectively, and manage course delivery and time. What's in it for me? What do I need? Cert IV in Training and Assessment (minimum); bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Experience Design, or related field (desirable). Must have business/SME/Small business or commercial banking capability or exposure. This role will require the ability to participate in some travel nationwide across Australia on approximately a quarterly basis. Experience in user experience (UX) design, instructional design, or multimedia development. Deep understanding of adult learning principles. Proficiency in design thinking methodologies, user research techniques, and data analysis. Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR, AI, adaptive learning). Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills. Creativity, empathy, and passion for designing transformative learning experiences. What's it like to work there?
