The Role
Due to recently awarded long haul fibre projects with some of Australia’s biggest Telecommunications carriers we have a new position for a Construction Manager. The preference is for this role to be based in Adelaide, however open to other locations for the right candidate. This hands-on role will require frequent travel to central Australia for up to 2-3 weeks continuous.
As a highly experienced Civil Construction Manager you will draw on your knowledge of machinery in relation to ground clearing and ripping to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include;
* Coordinating and supervising construction activities
* Leading project teams and stakeholder coordination
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
* Quality control
* Resource management and financial oversight
* Conformance of work to environmental regulations
About You
* 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, working on civil construction projects
* Solid knowledge of dozer ripping works, rock saws and associated machinery
* Strong understanding of environmental practices
* Flexibility to be based on site as required for 2-3 weeks at a time
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
