Our client, a multi-international tech company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Technician to join their team in Collie, WA.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure within a collaborative and supportive team environment. (Week days and day shifts only, 6:30am to 4pm).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide L1-L2 technical support for end-users, resolving issues related to:
o Desktop and laptop computers
o Printers and peripherals
o Network connectivity
o Audiovisual equipment
o Microsoft Office Suite and other standard applications
o Telephoning and video conferencing tools
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware replacements, and system configuration.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to higher-tier support when necessary.
4. Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
5. Adhere to strict security protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
6. Manual driver's license and on-site mining experience is highly preferred.
