Smile Works Dental (Ballarat) is seeking an exceptional Practice Manager to be the heart and soul of our family dental practice.If you're a passionate, organised professional looking for a comprehensive, rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you.As the Practice Manager, you'll be the captain of our ship, steering us toward excellence in patient care while fostering a harmonious, efficient and enthusiastic work environment.Your attention to detail and prior experience with multitasking will ensure the smooth operation of our practice.We Offer: A vibrant and supportive team dedicated to creating healthy and happy smiles State-of-the-art facilities with the latest dental technology A progressive 'best practice' approach to roles across the business Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Responsibilities: Daily operations of the practice: staff management, scheduling, and training Maintenance of excellent sterilisation and infection control standards Management of high value treatment plans Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the delivery of exceptional patient care Practice finances: billing and collections, insurance claims, and budgeting Stock control Supervise and ensure the maintenance of accurate patient records, patient privacy and confidentiality Expertly manage recruitment and training for new and ongoing staff members Conduct inductions, training and performance appraisals Report any areas where staff may require further training Ensure all team members have the tools and resources they need to deliver outstanding service Build relationships with referral sources and other dental professionals to expand the practice's network Lead the development and execution of a growth strategy for the practice Proactively market the practice to develop new business opportunities and promote growth Control and grow the practice's social media presence Requirements: At least 1-5 years of experience in management - dental experience, including managing staff, finances, and patient care Proven experience in developing and executing successful growth strategies Able to work totally independently / autonomously without direction, make decisions independently, and have a full understanding of clinic workings and your responsibilities (following comprehensive induction) Comprehensive track record of strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills Excellent communication and leadership skills Able to manage staff fairly and with authority Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Prior business and people management experience would be of benefit An above-average understanding of computers (most of our systems are computer-based) Knowledge of dental billing and insurance procedures is ideal Knowledge of Dental4 Windows software is ideal A strong work ethic with a results-driven, proactive approach A commitment to continued learning and self-improvement This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level in a practice that actively seeks to create growth, satisfaction, and positive, memorable experiences for patients and staff alike.Please apply directly through SEEK with your resume and a cover letter explaining why you would like to be part of our team.Only suitable candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
