This role is part of our Above Water Systems (AWS) team, which designs and engineers commercial and naval ships while also providing in-service support capabilities. In this exciting role you will help bolster Australia’s sovereign defence capability by driving business development and sales of Thales Naval Capability products and services across new and existing markets. You will understand the customers missions, operational environment and priorities, broaden the customers understanding of Thales solutions in connection with the customers mission to promote the Thales products and services to address the customers objectives. Responsibilities will include: Leading and securing capture opportunities through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities in new and existing accounts Acquire and share market intelligence and understand competitor trends and changed market conditions Identifying and development potential strategic alliances and partnerships for the Thales portfolio Managing reporting of sales opportunities and governance process Working within a highly matrixed organisation to contribute to sales strategy and planning to meet future market needs Stewardship of reference-able clients, facilitating reference contacts, tracking of references used Support the business in its market presence as a thought leader through all available forums and institutes Support the development of the communications and marketing plans as required to support the business strategic goals. How About you?
