Work Location: Iron Bridge Concentrate Handling Facility (CHF) Port Hedland - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge CHF project is located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 8D6R7N7R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
Iron Bridge is Fortescue’s US$2.6 billion project, set to deliver 22mtpa of high grade 67% Fe magnetite concentrate product. The CHF, located in Port Hedland, receives Magnetite via pipeline from the Ironbridge OPF, located 145km by road south of Port Hedland. The mine will deliver an innovative process design and industry-leading energy efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote rigorous compliance to Zero Harm principles ensuring that all works completed are adequately risk assessed with hazards mitigated and controlled
* Ensure all maintenance works are completed to schedule in a timely manner and to a high standard with a focus on continuous improvement practices
* Diagnostics and fault finding of all Processing Facility plant
* Statutory testing and inspections
* Preparing and executing high voltage switching programs and isolations
Qualifications and Experience
* Electrical trade qualification
* Current WA 'A' class Electrical Workers licence
* High Voltage switching certificate
* Certificate IV in instrumentation (desired)
* Experience as electrical tradesperson or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment
* Proven experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
* Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
* Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
* Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP/Microsoft Office suite
