About the Role
Our Procurement team is looking for a Procurement Sustainability Specialist to join our vast community of solvers. The Procurement team's procurement of goods and services embeds a shared focus on economic, environmental and social contributions within a framework of good governance and proactive supplier engagement. This includes a multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder approach which seeks to:
Embed a sustainable approach to procurement decision-making and processes that we are proud to showcase with our people, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
Engage our suppliers in our firm's sustainability objectives and collaborate on shared sustainability ambitions through a supplier engagement strategy
Strengthen compliance, reporting and transparency to align with PwC's firm-wide sustainability strategy, reporting and governance
Identify risks and opportunities with our suppliers in different sectors to support forward-planning and to drive innovation towards responsible and sustainable practices
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Third party market insights relating to ESG, commercial and risk
Entry level business or commercial acumen
Managing competing priorities
Effectively working within a matrix style organisation including at global level
In our Procurement team, your impact will be seen by:
Supporting PwC's procurement processes and internal and external reporting requirements to drive outcomes for customers and stakeholders
Embedding sustainable procurement practices within the firm, aligning with PwC's ESG goals
Supporting Sustainable Procurement Strategy:
Assisting in the development and execution of the sustainable procurement strategy in alignment with firm-wide sustainability objectives.
Collaborating with suppliers and business leaders on commercial initiatives impacting sustainable procurement priorities.
ESG Goals and Reporting:
Supporting the delivery against key ESG measures, focusing on Modern Slavery, Net Zero, and Reconciliation Action Plan objectives.
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of internal, external, and public reporting to senior and global stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Supporting the discovery, reporting, and mitigation of ESG-related risks, such as Modern Slavery.
Engaging in ESG discussions with external parties to promote sustainable practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Developing and maintaining key internal relationships to ensure the exchange of relevant information for meeting procurement team's ESG goals.
Acing as a liaison between the procurement team and other internal partners to support strategic supplier initiatives.
Data Analysis:
Conducting comprehensive data analyses to provide insights and support decision-making related to sustainable procurement.
Utilizing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the procurement process and supply chain.

Academic / professional qualifications
Recognised tertiary qualification(s) in a business, risk, sustainability or commercial discipline
