Indigeco is proud to partner with a leading Federal Government department in recruiting an experienced EL1 Executive Officer for a 6 + 6-month non-ongoing contract. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support high-level decision-making and drive efficient coordination across executive teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless administration and coordination of executive meetings, committees, and various senior-level engagements.As an Executive Officer, you will work closely with senior leadership to provide critical advice, administrative support, and oversight of key governance and corporate activities. Your role will enable the department to meet its strategic objectives and support Commonwealth-wide initiatives.Only Australian citizens with a Baseline Clearance are eligible to apply. Key Responsibilities: Provide detailed advice and administrative support to SES staff.Manage communications flow, including monitoring emails, briefs, and correspondence, and ensuring timely follow-up.Support SES staff in the effective governance and leadership of division and group activities, ensuring awareness of strategic and operational issues.Coordinate and assure the quality of corporate management activities, including business planning, briefs, and reports.Develop budgets, manage finances, and evaluate resource performance within agreed budgetary parameters.Prepare and coordinate complex and sensitive correspondence, research papers, corporate documents, submissions, and briefs.Provide secretariat support for Services Australia's strategic committees.Represent SES staff at internal and external forums, conferences, and cross-agency engagements.Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal staff, external APS agencies, and key stakeholders.Anticipate and resolve operational and strategic issues affecting Services Australia, advising on potential responses.Oversee initiatives and manage project and event coordination on behalf of SES staff.Ensure effective management of the Executive Team's activities.Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess a positive, proactive outlook even under pressure.
