Admin / Secretarial / Office Support Contracts Administrator Melbourne Contract or Temp Immediate start 6 Month Contract role Based in Melbourne South East suburbs About the Role: We are a leading Construction company in Melbourne Southeast suburbs are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to join their team as an Project Administrator, This is a 6 month contract with the view of extension.
The Role The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You'll be responsible for a diverse range of administrative and sales support tasks, making this an excellent role for someone who enjoys staying busy and tackling various duties.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the management of email, including calendar management for project and Project Manager Assist the Project Manager in ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Communicate project status updates, risks, and issues to the Project Manager Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to schedule meetings, maintaining and distributing agendas and meeting notes as required.
Assist in project team meetings and the facilitation of effective communication between the project team and other departments.
Assist in tracking project expenses and monitoring project budgets.
Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, and status reports.
Assist in the development and delivery of project presentations and reports.
Support the Project Manager in managing relationships with vendors and contractors.
Assist with procurement process including sourcing the quotations from vendors, submitting workplace requisitions, tracking orders and arranging payment.
Act as vendor liaison, scheduling deliveries and arranging contractors to be onsite at locations throughout the business networks.
Assist with invoicing and arranging payment for project related services to meet strict deadlines.
Organizing staff travel arrangements for the project team.
Managing the database of vendor, contractor and key contacts involved in the projects Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience in project admin or a similar role is highly regarded Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Comfortable working in a fast-paced and varied role A positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges Benefits?
