Situated in the heart of Tamworth, our operations include the 62 room CH Boutique Hotel, the heritage listed DECO Wine Bar & Restaurant, Hopscotch Restaurant, the Pavilion Function & Conference Centre, Pig & Tinder Box Restaurant & Bar, The Bureau, and the Dungowan Brewery. All our restaurants are full service dine in establishments.The Position: You will have an opportunity to further develop your hospitality skills and experience work in a variety of areas across our food service sites. The position includes managerial level food and beverage duties and bar work.This position is suited for candidates that like to work in a fast-paced supportive team environment, with high quality table service experience preferred. The successful applicant must be available across a 7 day roster including nights and weekends. As a member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall running of the business from top to bottom, leading by example and maintaining high standards.You must be highly motivated and able to manage all operational elements of the business from front to back of house. You will be passionate about your job, have a superior knowledge of food and beverage, understand the order of service and ensure our clients leave having had an all-round unforgettable dining experience.Key Duties:Delivering exceptional Customer ServiceMaintaining the service areaKnowledge of Food Safety requirementsUnderstanding of liquor licensing laws and complianceProven record managing restaurants and meeting KPI targetsProven financial management capabilitiesArranging bespoke eventsExperience in training staff with cultural sensitivityWorking with our chefs to update and improve menusOverseeing of rosteringSelecting and training restaurant and service staffStock level managementCash handling and register operationThe Person:RSA Certificate EssentialDiploma in Hospitality Operations or Similar desirablePrevious Bar experienceBe able to work independentlyExperience in a fast-paced hospitality environmentGreat presentation and customer service skillsWillingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated teamWillingness to jump into any task required, cleaning, food preparation and customer serviceStrong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety StandardsMust always be well presented, have a great work ethic and the ability to perform well under pressureA Positive can-do attitude and the ability to work nights & weekendsSo, if you are a 'can-do' person, who thrives on new challenges; likes working in a team environment; and consistently delivers to the highest quality, then you'll fit right in and we'd like to have you on our team.
