We're seeking an experienced and passionate Scientific Officer to join our Simulation and Practical Experience team. This role will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality simulation and practical learning activities across key disciplines.
As a Scientific Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice to support laboratory functions and users. Your tasks will include procurement, preparation, and setup of equipment and materials, as well as contributing to instrumentation maintenance and operation.
This position requires adaptability, proactive thinking, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and possess strong critical thinking abilities.

Key Qualifications
* Relevant health-based degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
* Demonstrated experience in providing technical support within a tertiary education institution or hospital setting
* Critical thinking and organizational skills
* Strong Health and Safety compliance acumen
* Ability to handle direction and work autonomously
* Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills
* Experience using Microsoft 365 platforms
