This position provides support to the Financial Accountant and Accounts Payable Team Supervisor in the general areas of system financial accounting, accounts payable, supplier management, corporate cards and other finance processes.
KEY FUNCTIONS Model Catholic values in everyday interactions between school staff and other agencies with an understanding and commitment to the mission of Catholic Education within the evangelising mission of the ChurchSupport Accounts Payable processes whilst still maintaining a separation of duties with regards to creditor maintenanceMonitor Purchase Order status in Technology One and amend or assist as required for efficient processing, through requisition stage to payment processingEnsure non-student debtors are accurately invoiced and outstanding monies collected in a timely mannerAssist the Bank Reconciliation Officer to ensure timely and accurate recording of cash transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts as requiredProvide general support to CEO Head Office and School staff as required on financial transactions in Technology One accounting systemAssist with Salary Sacrifice AdministrationSELECTION CRITERIA The successful candidate will be someone who has:
Knowledge of accounting principlesAbility to meet deadlines and work under limited directionDemonstrated ability to communicate among many and varied stakeholdersProficiency in the MS Office & Google suite of applicationsAbility to provide excellent customer service standards and maintain high stakeholder satisfactionQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Certificate IV in Business or Diploma in FinanceExperience in Finance software packagesExperience in MS Office and Google applicationsWORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as child-related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed before your commencement with us.
