Wilmar Ingredients within Sugar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator - Imports and Exports to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity, based at our Yarraville VIC head office. Reporting to the National Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, this role will play a crucial part in managing the overall day-to-day importing and exporting of finished products and supporting Wilmar Ingredients' business activities across our ANZ and global markets.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Managing the import and export process of raw materials and finished goods for the business
* Raising and processing Purchase Orders on approved suppliers and managing communication with stakeholders on delivery schedules
* Overseeing the documentation and compliance of all business transactions ensuring necessary paperwork for imports and exports are completed in the required time frame
* Coordinating logistics with 3PL providers, overseas suppliers, and customers for indent sales
* Managing the settlement of foreign exchange contracts and ensuring payments to vendors are processed
* Supporting the Logistics Controller by providing backup and analysis of monthly freight cost management
* Developing and implementing business process improvements to optimise logistics and reduce costs
* Regularly reviewing SAP vendor master data and ensuring up-to-date records
* Evaluating and executing Letters of Credit and Telegraphic Funds payments under Corporate Finance guidelines

This role is ideally suited to someone with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for logistics. You will thrive in a team environment and be focused on delivering results with a customer-centric mindset.
* Tertiary qualification in International Trade or Logistics
* Proven experience in import and export processes, with exposure to regulations, procurement, and logistics management
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with previous experience and knowledge of SAP
* Experience in export documentation, Letters of Credit, and Cross Trade Purchasing and Sales
* Ability to manage high volumes of emails and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* A solutions-focused and collaborative approach to work
