There will be a requirement for flexibility to work extended swings during planned shutdown periods, which occur three times a year. Reporting to the Superintendent Shutdown Maintenance, you will be responsible for the integration of the maintenance elements of the Mine Processing Fixed Plant facilities during Shutdown plant conditions.The role will incorporate all aspects of the shutdown preparation, execution and close out whilst promoting and fostering good relationships within the Roy Hill organisation and key vendor partners, motivating the maintenance professionals to surpass the maintenance department key performance indicators.Duties:Safe execution of the Fixed Plant Shutdown within quality, time and budget requirementsOperate in accordance with Roy Hill Work Management and Shutdown Management processes, ensuring collaboration across multidisciplinary departmentsEnsure all planned shutdown maintenance activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal obligations, environmental policies and duty of careDevelop executable maintenance scopes and schedules in aligned with Mine Process Plant Maintenance strategies and life of asset planning, including sustaining capitalSkills And Experience:Tertiary qualification in an engineering or similar technical field; or, an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experienceExperience of maintenance related to materials handling equipment including crushers, conveyor systems, screens, pumps, stackers, reclaimers and train loadingFault-finding and problem solving with a "can-do" attitude, with knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and RegulationsExperience with MS Project, SAP or similar CMMSMine Site Facilities:Modern, comfortable camp accommodationHigh quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options)Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for femalesHeated outdoor swimming poolBeach Volleyball court and Golf simulatorsVillage shop and extensive supporting amenitiesSWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capabilityActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyAbout The Company:Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia’s Pilbara region.
