APAC Regulatory Specialist - Australia (12 month contract)

About the Role

As a member of Bloomberg's External Relations department, our team is responsible for leading the firm's strategy and engagement with Government and Regulatory authorities in relation to policy formation and regulations impacting Bloomberg and our clients.


Responsibilities

* Support engagement with senior decision makers and regulators within financial markets
* Understand and articulate the impact of regulations, and help to drive for cross-market solutions
* Design, organise and execute regulatory and policy engagement activities and high-level regulatory conferences and events across APAC


Requirements

* 6-8 years' experience working directly or collaborating with policymakers and regulatory authorities
* Experience working in financial services in a legal, government & regulatory affairs, or Policy Advisor capacity
* Strong ability to influence both internally and externally
* Ability to understand domestic nuances and global developments
* Outstanding critical thinking, research, analysis and communication skills
* Proven track record of being a strong strategic thinker and executor, with outstanding collaboration skills
* Ability to navigate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* Fluency in English to communicate with stakeholders across APAC
* Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
