At Ingenia Geelong (Townsend) Gardens
We provide an alternative to traditional retirement living for independent seniors, offering low-maintenance rental units in a secure, gated community with beautifully manicured gardens. Close to shopping precincts, health facilities and sporting clubs and with a bus stop right out the front, this is a convenient location for all.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands on Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations at our gardens community. You responsibilities will include;
* Full management of all operational aspects associated with the community
* Providing a high level of customer service to all residents, guests, and community members
* Financial management including budgeting, profit and loss and reporting
* Develop an annual event calendar for the community and engage with residents to embed a culture that builds on community
* Coordinate the effective management of the onsite team, including grounds and maintenance, cleaning, and administration staff
* Manage the health, safety, and compliance requirements of the community
* Ensuring the Community presents to a high standard
* Support the Construction and Development teams with new homes delivery, installation and or the refurbishment process of resale homes
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar role and industry
* Excellent administrative, financial controls and practices
* Ability to identify problems and to use initiative and effective communication skills to resolve the issue
* Demonstrated capability and experience in the management of maintenance of buildings and grounds is desirable
* Ability to respond well to emergency situations
* Confident and proficient at reasoning with people
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* A demonstrated self-starter, enthusiastic to drive results, and capable of working to operational requirements
* Demonstrated staff management experience including performance discussions, training, and rostering
