Job Description
Provide digital and information literacy education, reference and library learning and research services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Institute staff to develop and implement discipline-relevant programs and services.
* Collaborate with support services staff to create digital and information literacy education programs, services, and resources.
* Create, maintain, and review specialist online resources facilitating effective self-service and learning.
* Provide reference services and referral for staff, students, and community users.
* Offer expert advice to researchers on various research-related topics.
About You:
Reporting to Team Leader, Library Learning Services, you will liaise with Institute staff, researchers, and HDR candidates to understand and meet their skills development and resource needs.
Requirements:
* Understanding of and experience in liaising with University staff to collaboratively develop and deliver services supporting learning, teaching, and research.
* Understanding of the teaching, learning, and research environments within the higher and vocational education sector and the role of a modern academic library.
Working Conditions:
Position is based at the Berwick Campus, with a part-time (0.4) continuing appointment as a HEW 6 - $88,421 p.a. (pro-rata) plus up to 17% superannuation.
