As the Head of Distribution Partnerships, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with key broker aggregator groups which are critical to the group’s mortgage growth and retention. In this highly influential role, you will oversee broker engagement, advocacy, and retention efforts, including leading the Broker Distribution Retention Support team, communications, and change management across all brands. You will also manage the operational and technological functions supporting third-party commissions payments. In addition, your responsibilities include driving broker advocacy and customer retention, overseeing strategic internal and external partnerships, and managing broker communications and change initiatives. This role is pivotal in optimising operational efficiency, supporting broker-introduced customer retention, and maintaining Westpac’s leadership in the third-party mortgage channel. The ideal candidate for the Head of Distribution Partnerships will bring strong leadership experience in managing large-scale partnerships, particularly within financial services or the mortgage industry. You will have a proven track record in building relationships with senior executives, driving broker engagement, and managing third-party distribution channels, including operational areas such as commissions, customer retention, and change management. You will possess, exceptional communication a strategic mindset and the ability to manage complex operations and budgets. Finally, you will be a collaborative and results-driven leader with experience in leading diverse teams, driving broker advocacy, and delivering continuous improvement across multiple brands and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Westpac’s business goals.
