Join our esteemed client in the thriving blue-collar industry as an HR Generalist! In this dynamic role, you will provide high-level HR advice and support, managing HR administration, the employee lifecycle, and return-to-work processes across the organisation. Our client specialises in commercial landscaping across Melbourne and employs over 100 dedicated professionals.
Your New Role
This is a full-time, temporary position until October 2025, with the potential for extension. Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing recruitment and onboarding processes for staff.
* Updating and maintaining HR documents and HR information systems.
* Supporting return-to-work requirements by liaising with employees, line managers, and insurance companies.
* Assisting with employee performance matters, including conducting investigations and disciplinary actions.
* Supporting the automated weekly payroll processing.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* A qualification in Human Resources.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including stakeholder management.
* Experience with Enterprise Agreements.
* Proven experience in all HR matters, including performance management techniques and practices, complaints management, and workforce planning.
* Experience working in a similar position within landscaping, construction or manufacturing industry.
