We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Family Services department as a Early Years Engagement Officer.
About this Role
·The Early Years Engagement Officer will oversee and support the smooth transition of children and their families into Universal Early Years services. The primary objective is to increase the engagement of children in preschool programs, including three and four-year-old preschool and Early Start Kindergarten.
About You
For this position, we are seeking a highly motivated individual, who is passionate about the children entering early years education programs, We require someone with a thorough understanding of the systems and processes related to the early years education to support the organisation in enhancing access to early years services for all children and families, including those eligible for Early Start Kindergarten.
You will need:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or lesser formal qualifications with relevant skills and experience working with families or within an Early Childhood service or setting.
* An understanding of the Early Childhood framework or Universal Early Years Services
* Knowledge of the barrier and needs of children and families accessing preschool programs.
* Experience in coordination of work, time management and organisational abilities, while collaborating with others.
Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
