About the Role
The Senior Clinical Psychologist will provide high-quality psychological interventions to adult consumers and carers of the service, including assessment, specialist therapeutic interventions, secondary consultation, and supervision of junior staff.
Under the guidance of the Acute Inpatient Service Manager and Director of Clinical Services, you will lead clinical and professional leadership to junior staff, students, and peers within a multidisciplinary team framework providing a recovery-focused Strengths Model of care.
Your Responsibilities:
* Complete an APAC-approved degree in Clinical Psychology at a Master's or Doctorate level.
* Register as a psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Pursue practice endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under AHPRA.
* Recognise supervisor of Clinical Psychology Registrars and postgraduate Clinical Psychology students under AHPRA.
Requirements:
* A current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain one.
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.

About St. Vincent's Mental Health:
St. Vincent's Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.
The adult mental health service components are: The Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU), the 44-bed Acute Inpatient Service (AIS), located on the St. Vincent's Hospital site, the North Fitzroy PARC, and two community mental health services (CMHS) at Hawthorn and East Melbourne (Clarendon CMHS).
