Other locations may be negotiated.The Manager, Macropod Management Unit works within the Permissions Management and Ecotourism Branch of Queensland Parks and Wildlife and Partnerships (QPWS&P). This role will lead a team based in multiple locations (Charleville, Toowoomba and Brisbane) that regulates the sustainable harvest of macropods in Queensland.QPWS&P proactively manages and monitors environmental risks through a modern and innovative regulatory framework that includes assessment, compliance, investigation and enforcement programs and leads and oversees the day-to-day management of the team tasked with managing the sustainable harvest of macropods across Queensland. The commercial and non-commercial harvesting of macropods involves taking animals from the wild to be utilised.
