What you'll be doing This role entails planning, coordinating, and delivering exceptional Occupational Therapy (OT) services across Cumberland Hospital's acute and rehabilitation streams, in line with Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) policies and standards. Flexibility is essential, as you will work in various clinical settings based on service needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments and provide interventions within a recovery model, aiming to help consumers reach their optimal level of functioning. In addition to overseeing and coordinating student placements, the role includes providing clinical supervision and leadership to level 1 and 2 OTs. Essential Criteria: Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by AAOT-NSW Registration: Registered OT through AHPRA Selection Criteria: Significant post-graduate clinical experience in Occupational Therapy with demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services within an inpatient caseload, including complex discharge planning (including NDIS). Demonstrated high level communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise service needs, own caseload, and competing demands. Experience in providing clinical supervision to Occupational Therapists and / or students. Demonstrated self-directed learning, and interest in quality activities and evidence-based practice. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
