Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work with the Regional Car Park Fund (RCPF) and Gippsland Logistics and Manufacturing Precinct (GLaMP) teams in the management and administration associated with planning, designing and delivering projects to ensure quality outcomes.
About The Role
As Assistant Project Manager, you will provide efficient and effective administration and project support to RCPF & GLaMP team members as required.
Facilitate the development of project plans and related documentation in conjunction with the Project managers to ensure that they are maintained, up to date and adhered to.
About You
You will have excellent communication skills to engage with counterparts internally and externally to discuss specialist matters and resolve issues when they arise.
You will use your expertise and judgement, along with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills to provide high quality support for the team.
Duties include:
* Ensure project governance by keeping clear, precise and professional documentation and corporate records.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people ensuring a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
* Organise and plan workflow, set priorities and meet deadlines to achieve the position’s designated objectives despite conflicting pressures.
You will have:
* A degree or diploma in a relevant field with some relevant experience or lesser qualification together with significant administration experience and/or exposure to project delivery environments.
* Several years of administration experience.
* Highly developed interpersonal, communications and organisational skills.
* Experience in Local Government is desirable.
